International students who are entering their first year of undergraduate or graduate coursework at the University of Adelaide in 2021–25 and have proven academic distinction in the past are eligible to apply for the Global Academic Excellence Award (International).
Direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, as well as those who must complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) before beginning their degrees, are eligible to apply;

Adelaide Scholarship Value And Duration
Only two scholarships worth a 50 percent reduction in tuition fees will be given out by each faculty, and they will be given to applicants who have the best score in their faculty that is greater than an ATAR of 98 or a GPA of 6.8.
Adelaide Scholarship Eligibility
Competitive academic excellence is the primary criterion for The University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships. Applicants to the University of Adelaide should aim for a GPA comparable to the following as a general rule:
- For undergraduate programs: Score of 98 on the raw ATAR or its equivalent.
- For postgraduate degree programs that involve coursework: 6.8 out of 7 on the grade point average OR its equivalent.
- Open to new international students enrolling in undergraduate or graduate coursework, including those who must complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) before starting their degree.
- Accessible to people of all nationalities (except Australia and New Zealand).
- Available for study in any discipline.
Exclusions
The following individuals are not eligible to receive funding from these scholarships:
Internal transfers are for currently enrolled students at the University of Adelaide who have not yet graduated from the program they are enrolled in;
- Students who have been granted a full tuition scholarship from an official scholarship-granting institution, such as a government ministry or department; Prospective students enrolled in PhD and Master’s by Research programs. Students who have been awarded a full tuition scholarship from an official scholarship-granting institution.
- The applicants who are enrolled in the programs that are specified in the terms and conditions are not eligible for the scholarships.
