Macquarie Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Full-time international students enrolling in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA courses) are encouraged to apply for this scholarship provided they meet the following requirements;
- Achieve a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) equivalent of 65 for Postgraduate applications; or a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) equivalent of 85 for Undergraduate applications.
- Must begin study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship acceptance letter.

Macquarie Scholarship Requirements
Nominees must have a confirmed offer of admission to Macquarie University and submit a nomination form to be eligible for this scholarship. Macquarie Scholarship Conditions For Acceptance
- Enroll and start your course in accordance with your Letter of Offer. Commencement may not be deferred.
- Maintain a full time study load of eight standard units per academic year throughout the duration of your program.
- Meet the University’s Academic progression policy.
- This award is solely available for on-campus education (according to COVID-19, online and/or international study are not eligible).
- Students who have been awarded any other Macquarie University scholarship will not be considered for this scholarship.
- If you have applied or are currently enrolled at Macquarie University International College, you are ineligible.
- You are ineligible if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or if you have permanent residency in Australia.
- If you leave from your degree prior to completion, you may be asked to repay any scholarships you received during your time at Macquarie University, depending on the decision of the scholarships and grants committee.
